Well, it's a new day! How wonderful :). Well it is for me anyway.... I just woke up :). Amelia's dad is just making some delicious hot chocolate and baguette for breakfast! Yes! I may have to go for a minute..... :)
Well this week felt really busy even though it wasn't... I try to go practice at the church every day, so that takes up a few hours. Then Thursday night we went to Institute, then Friday night.... we watched a movie at home. Amelia actually sat down and watched it! I was so proud of her :). You see, Amelia has been working non stop on Cello, Solfege, GED stuff, etc. every minute of the day. It is sad really, but she tells me that is how it has to be or she will just get super lazy. She has a Special Cycle Solfege exam this Friday which is what has really kept her going. She says afterwards, whether she gets in or not, she wants to have a party with our friends :). That will be a relief :). So, Friday was good. Saturday Morning I went to a rescheduled piano lesson at Celine's house. I got to meet her kids (who I will be babysitting :)... ) and her husband. They are all so great! I love her family! They come to Utah all the time, so hopefully I will get to see her again once I go back :). Also..... this is the coolest thing ever! She has this cute little building in the backyard with her piano and harpsichord (yes, you heard right...) and all of her music. I have always wanted that! A place you can practice in forever without bothering anyone! Oh man! And great news. I get to practice in it whenever I am over :). Honestly, they have the nicest family... and the cutest boys :). Antonin and Clement. How cute......
Ok, so on Saturday after my piano lesson I went to the Mega-Samedi (Super Saturday kind of....). It was this big all day thing with the Young Adults. Well, when I got there they were doing the service/gardening for a random neighbor part :). It was an absolute disaster. I honestly don't even think it made any difference at all. The neighbor didn't actually live in the house.... so the backyard was pretty run down.....
This is Corentin, Pierre, Bouba and Solene.
Bouba, Hiriata, Guillaume (a different one), Solene, Alban, and Celeste (another girl from Utah that was visiting for a week.)
Stefan, Emilie, Celeste, Guillaume, Hiriata, and Solene.
The Young Adults love to play Basketball. I think there were about 4 times that they went out and played that day.
So this picture under here is pretty random. Alban is talking to his girlfriend/fiancé on the phone, under a tree (to avoid the rain.) Then there is Bouba and Grace. Grace is showing him how to take a picture on his camera.... there you go.
I don't know what the deal was but there were a lot of super tired people just falling asleep everywhere. Must have been up late or something. I don't know. But then again, we were just sitting around for a while. Once we started doing something then everyone was fine :).
This is Jeramie, Pierre and Damien playing pool. We have all kinds of games in our institute building :).
Here they were coming back from playing basketball again :). This is Nicholas, Stefan, Grace, and Alban.
This was so funny! This couch was always crammed with guys :). They all love eachother obviously :). This is Pierre, Corentin, Alban, Grace and Bouba is on top :).
Vivien!!!!!!!!
This is while we were playing games. Damien was super nice and was translating for me. It is Damien, Solene, Marc, Fred, Stefan and Celeste...
Hahahaha! I thought it was awesome! He was barely even on the couch :).
:D Look at Pierre and Corentin! They are good friends :). They just snuggled right up there :).
Nicholas, Pierre, Amelia and Emilie.
Now, I didn't take these pictures...... but here you go. There are a lot of skaters around here. In fact, our Bishop totally rides his skateboard all the time! How awesome!
So, these are all of the women in our ward :). I am not sure why, but on Sunday we all gathered together for a picture and some cake. I don't have any idea what for. Well, since Amelia is the new ward historian (or whatever it is called), she got a picture with my camera too. We had the Bishop take the picture, and he was definitely thinking he was a professional photographer or something :). He was just snapping away. We definitely have plenty to choose from :)....haha. He is the coolest Bishop ever. Not even kidding.......
Well, if this is true I have just learned the best news in my whole life! Amelia's dad has been calling the Prefecture about my whole residency permit/visa situation. Anyway, we are going to double check tomorrow, but if what the lady said is true, I don't need either of them! What in the world?! This is AMAZING! I feel like this should be a really good dream or something. My goodness...... If this is true, I want to sue the French Consulate in America.... for reals. Ridiculous. Anyway, I will keep you guys updated. On Wednesday we are going to bring in my passport and my enrollment paper for the music school (yes, those are the only things I need...... what?!?! It's true....) in to the prefecture and get everything taken care of. Honestly... this is the greatest thing ever!
Alright, well I had much more to say, but I need to go to my Solfege class. Bye.
