"Oh, but Paris isn't for changing planes, it's for changing your outlook! For throwing open the windows and letting in... letting in la vie en rose."

Oh boy, do I have some great stuff here. Pictures I mean.... I may as well not even write anything because if "a picture is worth a thousand words," you will have devoured a whole book by the time you are finished. Here we go....

Well, since my time here is quickly coming to an end, we finally got out and looked around. On Thurdsay, Guillaume, Amelia and I went to the big Cathedral at Hotel de Ville. It was amazing! The pictures don't even show the half of it. I hope you can still see how cool it is though.
On Friday night we went all around Bordeaux with Damien. We literally went all over. We were lost for part of the time so I got to see more than planned, but I loved it! I tell you, this city is so beautiful! And old, holy cow......

Haha, sorry...... I have a lot of weird hair pictures on my camera.....

The Cathedral.

This is just a random picture :). After we got out of the Cathedral, we were going to go look at some stores on St. Catherine and I saw this guy. He had these little pink wings on and a green and yellow striped hat. He was just sitting there looking out of the window. I am sad I couldn't get a good picture of him. It was really funny.

Now we are onto Friday. (If you notice, the sky gets darker and darker :). Also, it was the nicest day ever! The sky looked beautiful.) This is another Cathedral in Bordeaux. It was built so long ago! I can't remember when he said it was, but it was something crazy....
This is in front of the Grand Theatre. That is the Grand Theatre on the right. I tell you... it was such a pretty day!!

Hehe, so these pictures are silly. They have these things (that we were standing on) on some roads that come up and down so cars can or can't go through. I don't really understand how they work. Anyway... Amelia was telling us about how she used to go stand on them after a car had just gone through and then they would lift you up. Well, of course we had to do it :)...

Hehe, this is Amelia's cell phone....

We are just good friends. :)

There was a sign that said "Undrinkable water." Darn it..... good thing they told us though.

I don't even know what this guy was..... He was cool though, so there you go.

Yeah, I really need to learn the names of these places. I know where to find them, but I don't actually know the name. Oh well... This place is beautiful. It is right next to the river so it reflects off of it at night. It is beautiful. You will see later....

Damien and Amelia. Amelia is just disgusted with me because I don't care if I am in any of the pictures so she is trying to explain that I am a loser. Just kidding....... but that kind of is what is going on....
Yay! She is just so happy to be alive!

Hahahaha.... this is the "French pose" that Amelia came up with..... :D
I just decided not to pose......

It was starting to get darker :). I love that every picture gets just a little darker......
Hehehe, these are Amelia all the way. I was just trying to make her happy :).

The "Pont de Pierre." (I actually know that one!) It is a beautiful bridge! I am so glad we went at night! It isn't half so cool in the daytime.
This is the Gironde river. Not so pretty in the day time, but again... the night makes it beautiful.

I look like I was just caught red-handed and am about to run for my life. It was actually just that Amelia surprised me with a picture. Hehe......

See, there we go. This is the building in the previous pictures. It is so pretty.......
Also, you will see a Feris Wheel in the distance. There is a fair going on apparently. It was just the perfect day to do this....Also, best ever, as we were walking down a street there was a man playing "La Vie en Rose" on the accordian! Are you joking?! How cool!

So, this thing came out of nowhere and just jumped in the picture. I don't know who ir thought he was to do that, but... there it is. It and Damien.

This is me though....

On the Bridge again.....

Hahaha, this is going to be Amelia's Halloween Costume. Hahahaha! I think it is Big Foot but you can't actually be sure. It's so cool though.

Well, I don't have anything else to say. I hope you enjoy the pictures. I would like to leave you with a quote though.....

"If growing up means it would be beneath my dignity to climb a tree, I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up! Not me!"

Take that for what it is......

"Take whatever booty you can find, but remember: the Beast is mine!"

Well, I thought it was about time to write again. I don't actually know if anyone reads this anymore, so this is really mostly for me now :). It makes me feel better...

First, I thought we would start the day off with this perfect picture here. This is my brother Sam. The coolest ever. I can't tell you how proud I am of him.... Honestly, this is ridiculous. Would anyone even like to pretend you aren't jealous? No. You are, it's ok.

So, on Monday we went to the Young Adult F.H.E. It was fun. I've never been able to go because I usually have Solfege class, but because of the vacation I was able to. This is Jonathon and Guillaume getting some food. Nutella on Brioche with hot chocolate is popular to have at these things it seems. We've had it a few times now... not that I am complaining. I love it. Not as good as baguette though :)..... After the lesson, we were planning the big halloween party that we are going to have on the 1st of November. It is going to be a big deal apparently. If we are being honest, I don't actually like Halloween...... I would be ok with not going, but I have been volunteered.... I wonder who would have done that?...... :)

Another photo shoot..... Hahaha, we were trying to do "palm trees" on our heads. Amelia's partially worked. Mine was just a big pom-pom ball on top of my head :). Oh well... I liked mine better anyway :).

So, yesterday was a good day. Guillaume had to come over and get his laundry that he had done here the day before. Well, just like always, it ended up with Amelia and him coming up with something to go do :). So, we went to IKEA! It was really fun. I love hanging out with those two. So, I don't know if I mentioned this in the last post, but Guillaume just moved into the tiniest appartment ever and has no room for anything. So, we went to IKEA to get a bookshelf for him to store things on. Well, in the end he got a bright red one! YES! (He loves red.) I am so proud. I was voting for either the bright blue or the bright red :). So cool.... So anyway...... that was fun. We ate lunch there also and it was good. I was a little upset that they didn't have any Cinnamon Rolls like in Utah, but oh well.... Instead they have Macaroons and Financiers and Donuts :). Funny :). Afterwards we came back to our house. It was a nice night so we went over to the park across the street from our building. That is what these pictures are from :).

They are super good friends :).... I love it.

I felt like I was 5 years old :)..... I actually still do.....

"Goodmorning starshine! The earth says Hello!"

So, that was a good day.... I thoroughly enjoyed it. After we hung out in the park for a while, we sat in Guillaum's car for an hour or so and just talked. Man, I just love it.....
Ok, what next? Well... I believe I have made a final decision. I think I refuse to think it is final and am still hoping for a miracle, but it is pretty much going to happen... maybe :). So, I think I will stay until the middle of December and then go home. I don't see another legal option, so that is probably what I will do.... It's a huge bummer, but I am also excited to see my family again. (Nobody judge me if I go into depression after Christmas though....)
Hmm.... what else?..... I saw a cat with no tail the other day. That was strange. I have seen a lot of drunk men screaming at people lately. Umm... it is starting to get pretty chilly here. I was so mad I didn't have my camera with me this morning because it was all foggy outside and it looked so cool! Oh well. Umm... well, because I don't have very long left here, Amelia and I are hopefully going to be going and seeing more of Bordeaux now. We are supposed to go today, but... I doubt we will. I guess we'll see. Also, I might go up to Versailles (right next to Paris) with Guillaume and some other Y.A. tomorrow. I don't know if we actually will, but that would be cool. Then I will get to see Paris before I leave. There is apparently a Y.A. dance up there (I am thinking I probably won't go to... :S) which Guillaume wants to go to so he can see some of his friends. So, we are seeing if we can get enough people to fill up a car so we can split the gas and it will be cheaper. I don't know. Or else we can take the train but that is more expensive. I guess we'll see.....
Oh friends.... what am I do to? I don't even know. Why do I have to like it here so much?? Oh well.... I promise I will be back here someday :).
Well, I just remembered something I can tell you about. So, I don't really know how how it all came about but Amelia's dad was asked to be in a video the Church is making... I think. So the movie guys came over and were recording him all over the city and in the Grand Theatre and everywhere. Well, I met two of them and they were both from Utah :). One of them said his last name was Whitaker, which reminded me that some Whitakers I know said they had an uncle who made movies... or something. Well it was him! I thought that was so cool. How random that I meet him in France of all places.... Anyway, cool.
Hahaha, this is just a dumb/funny thing.... Amelia and I have realized that we say "like" too many times. We don't talk like dumb blondes or anything, we just say it more than is necessary. So we are trying not to say it unless it's necessary :). It has been pathetic so far :). It just slips out! I can't even help it....
Well, that is going to have to be all. I am tired and I need to go read some Psychology thing for Guillaume..... I don't actually know why. Anyway, peace.
