Hello all.
Well, sad to say, there are no pictures this time :). My camera battery died, so I need to go buy an adaptor.. adapter? I don't know... But anyway, all the same, I hope I can still make this worth your time :).
So, latest and best news! I am in a music school! Yes, officially and for realsy. I am so excited! This is the best place ever! It is a small school (compared to the others), but it is beautiful! It is the cutest old building ever, and it is surrounded by grass and trees and flowers... This isn't a joke. It is so cool. And the best part is that I have a SUPER awesome teacher. She is Adaline's (Amelia's aunt) good friend, and she is apparently one of the best teachers. That is what Adaline says anyway. And Adaline is a really good teacher herself, so I guess that means a lot :). Anyway, really... it couldn't get any better. I go to my first class today, so hopefully that will go well. Not sure about how the language thing is going to work out, but I am excited all the same :).
Well, I still love it here! That hasn't worn off. The one... well, two things I don't love. 1. the super smelly gutters 2. EVERYONE smokes. It is gross. But luckily, it isn't everywhere. France is beautiful. I have seen more of it now than last time, and I still think so :).
So, I just keep making awesome friends. I am still waiting to find one that isn't awesome. What is the deal with that? Are they all going to be wonderful? I think so.... I guess we will have to wait and see. All of them are members too, which is awesome. (And yes, they also happen to all be guys...). I actually really love the members here. They are completely different from Utah Mormons, and not in a bad way. I love Utah and the people there, but it is way too easy, you know? People have to really try here, and it seems like they really know who they are more than anyone I know in Utah :). They are very real, I guess you could say :). I think they are great. Yes, they may have long hair and beards, etc. etc. but they are so cool. :)
Well, on Saturday Amelia and I played at a baptism. Jeramie's. He is in our young adult group. Awesome. It turned out nicely. I love playing with Amelia. She plays the Cello, for those of you who don't know.... She is very good.
Last night we went to Guillaume's house and made crepes. Needless to say, they were delicious. It was Amelia, Guillaume, Vivien and me. Vivien (one of my new friends) is in the army. He is hilarious. Anyway, he doesn't speak very good english, so it is interesting trying to talk with him. It takes a while :). But he is so cool. I am his "english teacher" now. But, sad to say, he just decided he won't speak english with me because he wants me to learn French in "6 weeks". Hahah, we will see how that goes.
Well, I guess that is all for now. I can't think of anything interesting to say, so I guess this is goodbye.
Stay sweet.
