i am hiawatha

these are from october 13th. 

benj wanted to have a picnic in the canyon before he left on his mission. 

his wish was our command. 

no, really i wasn't going to go, but i'm glad mom and dad made sure i went. 

with two kids, i just never have the energy or desire to go anywhere by myself, 

but for the most part, it ends up being worth the hassle. 

 it was so much fun and arthur just loved it. 

obviously the kid gets enough love :). 

it does my momma heart good to see how much my family loves him, and vice versa. 

i really don't know how they couldn't though. 

he's too much fun. 

we had turkey sandwiches, butternut squash soup and pumpkin hot chocolate. 

just delicious.
