perfect boys.

this boy is amazing. 

since the beginning of this year, he has been crazy about 

the sandlot and benny the jet and baseball. 

i went and bought him all of the baseball/raglan tee-shirts old navy had. 

he tries to wear them every single day, and we usually let him.

he acts out scenes from the sandlot while he's watching it, and even after. 

we got him a baseball, bat and glove. emily and parley gave him a tee and a new york yankees baseball hat. 

he wears his hat everywhere he goes. 

for a two year old, he is already pretty good at smacking that ball. 

while i would like to say we taught him how to hit and throw the ball, he has learned everything from the sandlot. thanks benny.

he has 3 more years until he we can sign him up for tee-ball. i think he's going to be pretty good by then.

he loves his brother hugo, and takes such good care of him. he will share anything with him, and is always so excited to see him when he wakes up. 

i am convinced he has selective hearing because, though i don't think he's trying to, he ignores almost everything we say. we repeat ourselves more than we should ever have to. the kid can hear just fine, he just picks and chooses what to listen to. 

he is so sweet and gives us hugs and kisses always. 

he loves animals. 

he is very soft and sweet for a toddler. i never have to worry about leaving him alone with hugo for a minute. 

we switched him to a toddler bed a few months ago. i was fully prepared for a nightmarish couple of days to follow, but he was a dream. it took him a few days to figure out he could even get out of bed by himself, and even now he knows to stay in bed. 

he has yet to warm up to potty training, but we keep encouraging him. maybe someday we'll be back to buying diapers for just one baby. 

he loves corn on the cob more than almost anything. he has finally started to eat his food, and sometimes he even asks to eat. progress. 

he is getting pretty good at talking now, but he's still pretty lazy. maybe that's our fault. we're working on it. he has the cutest little voice, and sometimes he sings and i can't handle it. 

we are so lucky for this beautiful, perfect boy. we love him. 

march 2015-

easter 2015-

we had our own little family (+ dane) easter this year and it made the whole day extra special. 

arthur woke up to candy and easter eggs. we had bacon, brie and basil waffles for breakfast, and spent the rest of the day watching conference. 

i love this tiny little family of mine. they make holidays better than they've ever been.
